Three Cheers for April Break — Check Out What the KYC Has Been Doing

i May 12th by

Teens spent April Break in style, starting off with a Wednesday visit to Wolfeboro Public Library. There was an art-gallery themed escape room set up, and our teens solved it in record time. In the afternoon, the group headed to Camp Sentinel where we were generously allowed to use the archery course. Some people hit bull’s eyes! We also hiked “The Ledges”, a local trail with sweeping views from the summit. CPR on Thursday was a full day course, and all the teens gained CPR certification. They ate pizza, learned about choking hazards and AEDs, and asked thoughtful questions. Later, ice cream at the Yum Yum Shop to celebrate!

On Friday, our final day of April break, teens attended a play in Laconia. “The Magician’s Elephant” was put on at the Colonial Theater, and it was worth the late night to see the spectacle.
