“Up” Conference

Last week we took a full bus of teens to the Granite Youth “Up” Conference at the Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods. The mission of the conference is to “educate, inspire and inform middle and high school students about the dangers of harmful substances and mental health issues.” We gathered with hundreds of teens to hear stories of hope and healing. There were tears at the stories we heard, and also laughter and joy at how far so many of the speakers have come in their journey through life. The keynote speaker this year was the remarkable Kevin Hines! We even made a little time to quickly hunt for ghosts and take in the view!
