Yesterday, in our substance misuse prevention programs, we discussed the risks and dangers of vaping. In the video below, a doctor explains that much is still unknown about the health implications of electronic cigarette use. We noted that this uncertainty is akin to that surrounding cigarette use in the first half of the 20th century. Ultimately cigarette smoking proved to be a grave health concern that has caused wide-spread suffering. What we don’t want is for history to repeat itself with vape use! We don’t think anyone wants to be a guinea pig in such a risky retirement. One of our goals is to help our participants make good choices.
